Students’ mental health is critical to understand, especially when they are in school. After interviewing a children's mental health advocate and conducting a student survey, Ariana D, Bruce C, Jabel E, Jabez M, Kat A, Kelly M, Mirian R P, Phil L, and Zeynep O developed these materials to share with their teachers and peers.

Student Interviews with Mental Health Experts
During the school year, high school students in the Freedom and Citizenship Civic Leadership Project researched organizations making a difference on their issue. Students then select practitioners and leaders on their topic to invite to an interview. In these interview, students spoke with Brandon Beachamp from The Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. and Dr. Akeem Marsh, Assistant Medical Director at The New York Foundling.
