Hygiene Access Survey

Students developed a survey to determine whether a lack of access to menstrual products was currently affecting young people in their schools. Between April 8 and April 28, 2026, this survey collected over 100 responses from students across the city. 21 schools from four boroughs are represented. Data was collected on the accessibility and variety of menstrual products and resources at each school, issues of school attendance as a result of menstruation, as well as comfort and support from the school community.
